Manure removal systems in pigsties - Technical information

Manure removal systems in pigsties, PVC pipes and fittings

Self-propelled manure removal system.

Creating an optimal microclimate in pig farms and increasing the efficiency of raising pigs directly depends on the manure removal system used.
To date, one of the most convenient and economical options for removing manure from pig farms of any size is a self-propelled manure removal system.

The self-alloying manure removal system works on the principle of self-alloying and requires the use of a minimum amount of water, electricity and labor costs.
When using a manure removal system, the pig population is kept on a slatted floor (made of plastic, metal or concrete) above the manure accumulating baths (bowls). Through the slotted floor, the manure enters the manure storage tanks and, by means of hermetic blocking of the drain holes with plugs with a seal, accumulates.

When filling manure-accumulating baths with manure, a drain plug is lifted with a stainless steel hook and manure is removed through sewer pipes into special collectors. Pumps or conveyors move manure to manure storages. The manure tank is usually cast in concrete and cleaned every fourteen days. Sewerage consists of polypropylene pipes, durable and resistant to aggressive chemical effects of the environment and temperature extremes.

PVC pipes for manure alloy, which are used for sewerage, do not rust or rot. They also have a fairly large throughput. Pipe diameters are selected depending on the purpose of the premises (fattening, mother liquor) and the number of animals that are kept in. Subsequent disposal of manure is carried out with export to the fields as a fertilizer.

Advantages of a gravity manure removal system:

  • fast installation with minimal costs;
  • efficiency - relatively low cost compared to other manure removal systems;
  • ease of use;
  • reduction of water consumption by at least 30-40% compared to other manure removal systems, which leads to a decrease in the capacity of the manure storage;
  • reduction in the number of service personnel;
  • minimum costs for equipment maintenance;
  • reduction of energy costs;
  • tightness of the system, which makes it possible to exclude the ingress of harmful substances into groundwater;
  • The system can be installed in buildings of any type and size.

OUR COMPANY IS READY TO OFFER THE FULL RANGE OF COMPONENTS OF THE MANURE REMOVAL SYSTEM:

Laying pipes of the manure removal system

Along the building, under a strictly defined slope (3 - 5 mm / m), PVC sewer pipes are laid (depending on the number of heads, the location of the baths).
The pipes should be laid on a 10 cm sand "cushion" and then covered with a layer of sand on top). The top layer should be carefully tamped. It is important that the pipes are not displaced.
PVC saddles with plugs inserted into them are cut into the pipes from above. If necessary, extensions are put on the saddles.
The fan pipe with a PVC air valve at the top is led out of the wall of the building.
When everything is ready, the floor of the pigsty is poured with concrete.
