Polyethylene pipes for gas supply are intended for the construction of gas pipelines transporting natural gases from gas and oil fields that do not contain aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and gas-air mixtures that do not contain these hydrocarbons.
Polyethylene pipes for gas supply are made of polyethylene with a minimum long-term strength of MRS 8.0 MPa (PE 80 pipes) and MRS 10.0 MPa (PE 100 pipes), the range of gas pipes made of PE-80 is given in the table:
