PE-1000 ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is an engineering industrial plastic with excellent strength, stiffness, slip and handling characteristics.

PE1000 polyethylene, due to its excellent technical properties, is indicated for many applications, and due to its ease of processing and performance, it is an excellent replacement for non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, bronze and aluminum in countless precision parts.

 

Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene PE1000 has high wear resistance to abrasion (low coefficient of friction), is resistant to dynamic loads and does not absorb moisture. This material is easy to process and is a good electrical insulator.

 

Polyethylene PE-1000 has good chemical resistance. Resistant to most acids, alkalis and many organic solvents. Physiologically harmless according to BfR and can be used in the food industry.
